PVI Rake Calculation GG Network
The GGNetwork uses a model called PVI Contribution (Player Value Index) to calculate rake somewhat similar to other big networks such as iPoker Network. PVI varies from player to player and is determined by the poker site (not YourPokerDream) and may mean that the network is not necessarily counting 100% of the actually earned rake. For a consistently winning player, in a worst-case scenario, it may mean that you are credited with only 50-60% of the actual rake at a cash table. If you play just sometimes for fun you have little to worry about as you will likely have a higher PVI. Therefore, fair warning that 100% of your rake generated may not always be counted in our promotions/deals. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do from our side (the same with any other skins or affiliates) as this is a network-determined number and beyond our control.
That may sound negative at first, but if you think about it in the long term, by rewarding losing players more, keeps the playing field incredibly soft, which in turn increases your own win rate. There also are many great promotions that will have you bringing home more cash and bringing more fun while playing.
Important: In Tournaments, as well as All-in or Fold, no PVI is used and 100% of the earned rake is counted. Only in regular cash games, Rush&Cash or Spin&Gold tables, does the network use PVI.
