The 2019 WSOP was the 50th annual tournament, and it took place from May 28 to July 16 at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. There were 90 bracelet events, which was a record number at the time.
One of the most prestigious events, the Main Event, began on July 3 with the final table being reached on July 12. The winner of the 2019 WSOP Main Event was Hossein Ensan, a poker player from Germany. He earned the top prize of $10,000,000. Ensan was the second Iranian-born player to win the Main Event, following Mansour Matloubi, who won in 1990.
