Affiliate / Agent Account blocked by Pokerking and WPN for no reason
We have been waiting for a payout of $ 9,500 for a few days. Not only that the payout has still not been processed, but the entire account with a balance of just over $ 70,000 has also been blocked without giving reasons. Pokerking itself has informed us that the blocking comes from the WPN network and Pokerking itself cannot do anything about it.
No feedback from WPN so far and our contact at Pokerking apparently couldn’t achieve anything yesterday and gave as of 16:00 today no feedback and did not react to our messages. This is far from acceptable and we expect that this matter is a top priority. That’s why we are a little disappointed here that there hasn’t been any feedback or answer all day. However, we were able to reach someone from the WPN Affiliate Team, who is not responsible for Pokerking, but only for America’s Cardroom and BlackChipPoker. Our case was kindly forwarded to the responsible department and our contact told us that it is a random security check that is sometimes carried out even on affiliate accounts.
Security checks are perfectly fine, but that in no way justifies behavior towards YourPokerDream as a partner and one of the largest poker affiliates. The whole thing and process are unacceptable in every way and once again show the difference between the big names in the scene who work with official licenses a big team and WPN.
The paradox is that WPN is known for not taking laws and guidelines that closely. They actually accept players from almost all countries, often illegally and completely without a license, but nobody cares. But on the other hand, any supposed security clearance is being carried out for no reason whatsoever and without normal communication.
However, since we always report transparently and honestly, we would like to make it very clear that we have always been paid up to this point and that there have been no major problems with any payments so far. That’s why we are very surprised about the current situation and the lack of communication.
Since we are still assuming an unfortunate incident at this point, which has still been resolved today, we will not issue an official warning yet and apart from this news, we will not take any further action. If the matter is not cleared up within the next 24 hours, we must take further steps to protect ourselves and our players.

WPN has just informed us that the security check has been completed and everything has been sorted out. We have full access to our account and balance again.

Just to update the thread. We finally received an answer from WPN and a short explanation about the situation to understand a bit better what’s going on here. We are still not happy about this situation, but expect that all is solved soon.

Now for the first time there was a reasonably understandable statement from our contact at Pokerking. We can now understand the background of the review a little, but without giving further information, we can still clearly say that this has nothing to do with us as an affiliate and our account and the whole process is just plain embarrassing.
We are preparing appropriate measures in the background, even if we hope that it will not come to that and that the matter will be resolved. Nevertheless, we still recommend that players do not register for one of our WPN skins for the time being. Existing players can continue to play and all players will continue to take part in our promotions/races for the moment.

We received an update from our Pokerking contac,t that WPN answered them that the mysterious check is still going on and they try to complete it as soon as possible. The question still arises, which security check for an affiliate/agent account with no gaming activity?

Our contact from Pokerking still has no response and no response from WPN for 2 days. We advise all players who are not yet registered with Pokerking and the WPN network to wait for security reasons until we can make sure that everything is in order.
If nothing has happened by tomorrow morning, we will take further measures. Of course, the public will be informed now, and we will prepare some legal action if needed. The whole thing is highly unprofessional and completely unacceptable.
It makes no sense for WPN to take our money or from players, and we don’t think it will be so, because they would lose money, players and us as partners and of course get very bad publicity. Nevertheless, it is a very uncomfortable and not understandable situation.

Our account and balance are still blocked, but we have received a response from our Pokerking contact, which unfortunately was not available yesterday. He assured us today that he would take care of the matter and confirm that this is all being handled by the WPN team in Costa Rica and not directly by Pokerking. Due to the different time zone, this is always a bit difficult with communication, so we will have to wait until tonight.
At this point we think that there is still no reason to panic, all funds should be safe and you can continue to play normally. We don’t want to create any panic for you players, but of course we have to take the matter seriously and treat it that way. There will be another update between 06:00-08:00 pm German time.

We have still not received any feedback from Pokerking. Since WPN is in a different time zone, we assume that we will have feedback by tomorrow morning and the matter will be resolved. If this is not the case and our account and money are still blocked, we have to issue an official warning, which we don’t like to do. In this case, however, we have to protect our players and ourselves in case if it is not solved. We will publish another update at around 10:30 a.m. tomorrow morning.
