Dublin, Ireland & Las Vegas (August 17, 2023) – The World Series of Poker® (WSOP®) and GGPoker, the World’s Biggest Poker Room, have released more details about WSOP Online 2023. Since 2020, WSOP Online has become the most prestigious online poker tournament series, with each new bracelet winner joining a list of the most successful and famous poker players.
International players can compete for official WSOP gold bracelets at GGPoker, Ontario residents at GGPoker.CA, and U.S. residents in Nevada, New Jersey, Michigan, and Pennsylvania can participate in tournaments on WSOP.COM. Both GGPoker and WSOP.COM will offer 33 WSOP gold bracelets each during WSOP Online 2023, and GGPoker.CA will have eight more bracelets to win.
The tournament series will be hosted at GGPoker and GGPoker.CA from Aug. 20 to Oct. 2, 2023, and at WSOP.COM from Sept. 10 to Oct. 17. The WSOP Online 2023 schedule offers various buy-ins and daily satellites for players of all levels.
Ty Stewart, Senior Vice President and Executive Director of the WSOP, stated that WSOP Online is becoming the premier annual online poker series, offering glory to players worldwide. He expressed excitement about welcoming new members to poker’s most exclusive club.
Poker players globally can join Daniel Negreanu at GGPoker for the WSOP Online tournament series, where he will compete in various bracelet events. He will live stream much of his play and sell some of his action via the GGPoker app.
Negreanu, GGPoker Global Ambassador, expressed his eagerness to play in WSOP Online 2023 and invited others to join him through streaming and GGPoker’s staking feature.
A special promotion, Rush & Cash Double DNegs, will be available at GGPoker’s Rush & Cash tables, with details to be revealed soon.
WSOP Online 2023’s domestic schedule starts with a $400 Series “Kick-off” No Limit Hold’em event and includes returning and new events. The domestic series features fifteen events of $1,000 or higher, and players must be within state borders to participate. Special resort rates will be available in Nevada and New Jersey.
