Launching the most ambitious online poker tournament series to date, GGPoker announces the commencement of the GGPoker World Festival, slated to run from May 5 to June 11.
GGPoker, renowned as the globe’s premier poker venue, is excited to declare the upcoming GGPoker World Festival. This online tournament series, eagerly awaited by fans and players alike, is scheduled to commence on Sunday, May 5, and conclude on Tuesday, June 11.
Eclipsing last year’s groundbreaking series, which set a new benchmark with a $200M prize pool, the 2024 edition aims to surpass expectations by offering a staggering $250M in guaranteed prize money.
To cater to a broad spectrum of poker enthusiasts, the GGPoker World Festival will showcase an extensive selection of tournament events spread across four distinct buy-in levels:
– Low Tier (starting from a $2.50 buy-in)
– Medium Tier (starting from a $25 buy-in)
– High Tier (starting from a $150 buy-in)
– Super Tier (starting from a $1,050 buy-in)
The series also introduces a path for players to enter festival events via satellite tournaments, enhancing the accessibility of the event for a wider audience.
In a significant addition to the series, a tournament leaderboard will award an additional $2.5 million in prizes. Competitors will earn points for participating in the series events, with a total of $250K allocated for Low Tier leaderboard winners, $500K for Medium Tier, $750K for High Tier, and $1M for Super Tier leaderboard winners.
