Over 250 industry leaders participate in a €100K free-entry tournament in Lisbon
GGPoker, the world’s largest poker platform, is excited to announce the successful completion of the SBC Poker Championship, a live poker event held at Casino Lisboa on September 26, during the SBC Summit 2024, a high-profile gaming conference. A key moment of the tournament was GGPoker’s donation of €10,000 to Associação Salvador, a renowned Portuguese organization that supports people with motor disabilities.
GGPoker is dedicated to giving back to the communities where it operates, and this contribution underscores the company’s commitment to supporting impactful initiatives. Associação Salvador has played a crucial role in enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities by offering essential resources, support, and advocacy.
The SBC Poker Championship drew in 285 participants, including many top professionals from the gaming sector. As a free-entry event, the tournament created an exciting environment for networking, friendly competition, and the chance to win from a pool of €100,000 in prizes. Cash rewards were distributed among the top 100 players, with the 100th place receiving €400 and the champion walking away with €10,000.
